Our Ministries

We serve others in many different ways.  Some of them are:

Prayer Chain and Prayer Ministry:  Prayer is vital to the church, and God has answered prayer in marvelous ways!

United Methodist Men: The men meet on the third Saturday of every other month beginning in January at 7:30 AM for breakfast and business meeting.

United Methodist Women:  The women meet the first Thursday of each month at 1 PM.  The primary function is outreach and mission work.

Pizza and Praise Evening:  The first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 is free pizza, drinks and dessert, followed by a short devotion and prayer requests.

Choir: Our choir practices each Wednesday evening from 7:30-8:30 and we rejoice in singing praises to our Heavenly Father!

Your Father’s Kitchen:  Together with our sister church Clarksville United Methodist, we serve a dinner to approximately 150 people in Wilmington on the third and fifth Thursdays of each month.  www.sugartree.org

Foods Resource Bank:  We plant corn or soybeans and donate the proceeds from the sale to the Foods Resource Bank organization to help feed the world’s hungry.  www.foodsresourcebank.org

Feed My Sheep:  Meals are served to families within our congregation who need a rest due to physical or family conditions.
